Thomas County Federal offers many different types of checking accounts. We try to offer account types that will let each new depositor select an account that will best suit his/her needs. The interest rate on each is subject to change at any time. We offer:

Flat Fee Checking

• Flat Fee of $8.00 charged per statement cycle
• No interest paid on the deposited balances
• No charge for checks written
• Minimum deposit of $100.00 to open
• Overdraft protection available
• VISA® Debit Card Available

Checking with Interest

• Account is a tiered account, the higher the balance, the higher the interest rate.(Contact us for current interest rates.)
• Interest is compounded daily
• No service charge, and no check charges if account maintains a $500.00 balance.
• Service charge of $6.00 and 15 cents per debit transaction (withdrawal, check paid, automatic transfer or payment) if the balance falls below $500.00 during the statement cycle
• Minimum deposit of $200.00 to open
• Overdraft protection available
• VISA® Debit Card available

Senior Citizens
(Age 55 and over)

• Account is a tiered account, the higher the balance, the higher the interest rate.(Contact us for current interest rates.)
• Interest is compounded daily
• No service charge and no per check charge
• Requires $100.00 deposit to open
• No minimum balance required to maintain
• Overdraft protection available
• VISA® Debit Card available
